Daytime water outages expected in Moate on Tuesday

Uisce Éireann has advised residents of Moate and surrounding areas to expect further water supply disruption tomorrow (Tuesday, July 23).

Moate has been experiencing frequent water supply issues over a number of years, which have often been caused by pipe bursts.

Tomorrow's expected disruption will be a result of mains repair works, Uisce Éireann said.

It's notifying the public that works are due to take place "from 10am until 4pm" on Tuesday.

"We recommend that you allow 3-4 hours after the estimated restoration time for your supply to fully return," said the utility.
