Radisson Blu Hotel Athlone receives 'great place to work' accolade

Great Place to Work Ireland has recognised The iNua Hotel Collection, which includes Radisson Blu Hotel Athlone, as one of Ireland’s best workplaces in hospitality in 2026.

The Best Workplaces in Hospitality awards recognises organisations that are setting the standard for workplace culture across Ireland's hospitality sector.

Based on confidential employee feedback and independent analysis by Great Place to Work, the recognition highlights organisations that are 'creating consistently positive experiences for their people', said the competition organisers.

As part of this year's pre-awards research, more than 5,900 hospitality employees were invited to share their experiences of workplace culture, leadership, well-being and development opportunities. Following a comprehensive review of the data, 33 organisations were recognised as Ireland's best workplaces in hospitality for 2026.

On its social media platforms, Radisson Blu Hotel Athlone said: 'Great hospitality is created every day by people who choose this career and bring their best. This achievement is a reflection of our team's dedication to building a workplace grounded in inclusion, support and continuous development. Congratulations to all involved'.

Deirdre Buckley, Chief People Officer at The iNua Hotel Collection, said: “This is another fantastic achievement for our properties in The iNua Hotel Collection. We pride ourselves on finding, nurturing and developing our team across every department, from entry level to senior management positions, so to be named among Ireland's best workplaces in hospitality is testament to that commitment. To know our employees recognise this is a great achievement for us as a company. When our team feels supported and encouraged that translates to the service and true sense of hospitality that they then provide for our guests.”
