U15 footballers remain unbeaten after fine display
Westmeath 7-14, Carlow 3-8
Westmeath maintained their 100% record in the Dermot Earley Cup last Saturday, accounting for Carlow in a pristine Hogan Park. The home side showed a ruthless streak in the game and built up a healthy half time lead when going in 3-8 to 1-2 ahead at the interval.
The habit of finding the net continued after the break as another four majors followed to seal a 7-14 to 3-8 victory. Well done to all players and mentors on an efficient display and many thanks to Moate GAA for hosting and Enda Kelly for refereeing the game.

Development Squads
All football squads are in action this Saturday, 18th July, as they take part in the penultimate fixtures in the calendar.
The U16 footballers will take on Dublin in the Ted Webb semi final this Saturday at 12:00 in TEG Cusack Park. Westmeath have come through their group stage with wins over Meath, Laois and Galway, whilst Dublin beat North Kerry and Mayo but lost out by a point to Cork. In the county's fourth year competing in the Ted Webb Cup, this is the third semi final and Westmeath will be looking to qualify for the final of the competition for the first time on Saturday.
The U15 footballers will be headed to two separate locations on Saturday. The Dermot Earley Cup team will look to keep their 100% record going when they travel to Tipperary to take on the Premier County. At the time of writing, the venue for the game had yet to be confirmed. Meanwhile, the Humphrey Kelliher Cup team will host Waterford in Kinnegad at 12:00. Both sides come into the game with two wins and a loss so a tight affair is expected to ensue.
The U14 footballers are on the road on Saturday also, as they travel to Carlow's Centre of Excellence in Fenagh. They will play games against Carlow and Laois in this as they look to continue their development. Best wishes to all sides and mentors in their games and any support at these games is most welcome.
