Tommy Tiernan announces series of Westmeath stand-up shows

Comedian Tommy Tiernan has announced a series of live performances in Westmeath as part of his 'World Tour of Counties' run of shows.

Tiernan's will perform at five different venues in the county in October with tickets going on sale for the new stand-up show on Thursday morning at 10am.

The first of six performances from the Meath born comedian takes place in the Dean Crowe Theatre Athlone on Thursday, October 1 and Tiernan will return to the venue for a second performance on Thursday, October 8.

Tiernan will also perform his stand-up show at two different venues in Moate. Firstly, he will take to the stage in The Well on Friday, October 2, with a second performance in Tuar Ard Arts Centre on Friday, October 9.

The Galway based comedian will then complete his tour of the county with dates in the Mullingar Park Hotel on Saturday, October 3, and Mount Druid in Castletown Geoghegan on Friday, October 23.

Tickets for the shows in The Well Moate, Mullingar Park Hotel and Mount Druid Castletown Geoghegan go on sale on ticketmaster.ie from 10am on Thursday.

Meanwhile, tickets for the Dean Crowe Theatre Athlone and Tuar Ard Arts Centre Moate performances are on sale from the respective venues at 10am on Thursday.
