Little Theatre's big anniversary

Athlone Little Theatre will celebrate its 90th anniversary with a BBQ in the Sheraton Hotel on Friday, August 21, at 6.30pm.

The theatre's committee is inviting the public to come along for an evening of food, music, and chat as it celebrates nine decades of wonderful entertainment.

The event is open to past and present members and patrons who have travelled with Athlone Little Theatre on its way to this remarkable milestone. Book your ticket on Eventbrite or via: www.athlonelittletheatre.ie

An exhibition celebrating 90 years of drama will also take place in Athlone Civic Centre Atrium from August 17 to 21, between 9am and 5pm daily.

This will display aspects of the theatre's history through newspaper articles, photographs, and theatre programmes. A list of all the people who have performed on stage with the group over the past 90 years will form part of the exhibition.
