Rosemount athlete records new PB in London
Rosemount athlete Aaron Keane recorded a personal best time when finishing in second place at the Stratford Speed GP in London on Sunday.
The Tullamore Harriers runner crossed the 200m finishing line in an impressive 21.02 seconds, smashing his previous personal best of 21.45 by 0.43 seconds.
The Stratford Speed GP is a premier track and field athletics event series held at the London Marathon Community Track in Stratford, London.
Organised by Tony Shiret and Laura Hillyard, the competition features elite, emerging, and enthusiast sprinters racing on one of the fastest synthetic rubber running surface used in track and field.
Keane made his senior international athletics debut when he ran as part of the Irish Mixed 4x400 team in the 2025 World Relays Championships in Guangzhou, China.
