Consultation workshops to be held on Westmeath Arts Plan
Westmeath County Council Arts Office is developing a five-year arts plan to set out priorities for the arts in the county. The Arts Plan will guide arts activity, investment, and support over the next five years.
The public, artists, arts workers and creative practitioners in Westmeath are invited to take part in consultation workshops to contribute to the development of the new Arts Plan. Public consultation workshops will take place at Mullingar Arts Centre Dean Crowe Theatre, Athlone, and online. Artists and arts workers are also invited to attend a dedicated consultation workshop for the arts communities.
Members of the public, artists and arts communities are invited to share views, perspectives on and ideas for arts and culture in Westmeath and help shape the priorities of the new Arts Plan. The experiences, ideas and insights shared will help shape arts programmes and opportunities in Westmeath.
Consultation workshops for the development of the new Westmeath Arts Plan 2026-2030 will take place at the following locations and times:
Mullingar Arts Centre, Saturday, August 29, 11am-1pm
Dean Crowe Theatre, Athlone, Monday, August 31, 7pm-9pm
Online Consultation Workshop, Wednesday 2 September, 7pm-9pm
