All-Ireland gold medal for Moore's Grace-Rose

In the last few days, the south Roscommon area of Moore has welcomed home an All-Ireland champion after Grace-Rose Dolan claimed gold at this year's Cairm Community Games finals in Carlow.

From Dromalga, Grace-Rose came in first place in the Under-14 art competition at the Visual Arts Centre in Carlow.

Grace-Rose chose the theme 'debating' for her entry and her superb piece hugely impressed the adjudicators who awarded her the gold medal. Grace-Rose was representing Roscommon at the event having previously come through the provincial series of the 2026 Cairn Community Games.
