Hugo Loonam Motors is Ireland’s first Ineos dealer
Cloghan's Hugo Loonam Motors has announced that it's become the first Ineos Automotive dealership in Ireland.
Orangeworks Automotive, the official importer and distributor for Ineos Automotive, appointed the Offaly firm as an official Ineos dealer.
It said the appointment marked an important milestone in the development of the Ineos Automotive retail network in Ireland, giving customers in the Midlands a dedicated location for vehicle sales, servicing and aftersales support.
Hugo Loonam Motors will offer the full range of Ineos commercial and passenger vehicles from its Offaly base, with the Grenadier station wagon and Quartermaster pick-up offering a combination of rugged capability, practicality and modern engineering for customers across the agricultural, corporate and private sectors.
The Grenadier and Quartermaster models are perfectly suited to those living and working in the Midlands region who need a capable 4X4 that can work as hard as they do. They provide best-in-class all-terrain capability, durability and reliability, making them particularly suited to farmers, agricultural contractors, rural businesses and customers who require an uncompromising off-roader.
Hugo Loonam Motors made its Ineos debut at the Tullamore Show in August, where it showcased the Grenadier N1 5-seat, the only crew cab-classed vehicle approved by Revenue for sale in Ireland.
Alongside it was the new MY26 Quartermaster 2-seat, the first of its kind in the country, carrying an 8% Benefit-in-Kind (BIK) rate that offers a significant tax advantage to qualifying business users, compared with a passenger vehicle. Irish pricing started from €59,995 + VAT.
Every Grenadier and Quartermaster comes with a five-year, unlimited-mileage warranty, five years of AA roadside assistance and a 12-year anti-perforation warranty against rust-through corrosion.
David Bassett, Managing Director of Orangeworks Automotive, said: "Hugo Loonam Motors is exactly the partner we wanted to bring Ineos to Ireland with. They’ve spent more than two decades building trust with customers across the Midlands, and that’s exactly the kind of business we want representing the brand here. This is just the first step. We’re building the INEOS network out across the country, and Offaly was the right place to start."
Hugo Loonam, dealer principal at Hugo Loonam Motors, said: "We are delighted to become the first Ineos dealer in Ireland. It’s a fantastic opportunity for us and one that we are excited about.
"Ineos has built a strong reputation for producing tough, capable and distinctive vehicles. We are proud to be part of the Ineos journey from the beginning and can’t wait to get started, introduce the vehicles to our customers, and see where this exciting partnership takes us."
