New Ballinasloe Tesco store to create 50 extra jobs

The opening of the new Tesco store in Ballinasloe on October 12 will create 50 new jobs in the town. The new store located in the Dunlo Town Centre will replace the existing Tesco store on the Sarsfield Road, which will close to business on Sunday, October 11 at 6pm. The existing workforce already employed by Tesco in Ballinasloe will transfer over to the new store. The new store will open with a wider range of every day favourite groceries and food and will feature a brand new range of clothing, electricals, home entertainments, toys and a great health & beauty department. There will also be a free car park for up to 433 vehicles. Speaking prior to the opening, Tesco Ballinasloe Store Manager Kieran Rushe commented: "We are delighted to be opening a bigger and better store in Ballinasloe which will offer our customers a greater range of food and brand new products such as clothing and garden-ware at great low Tesco prices. Recently we reduced the price on thousands of products in Tesco Ballinasloe which has helped our customers save up to 1/3 on the weekly shop, and you can be assured that these price reductions will be available in our new store". The new Tesco Ballinasloe store will open Monday to Saturday 8am to 10pm and Sundays from 10am to 8pm.
