Photo exhibition running at Dean Crowe Theatre

A photographic exhibition is currently being held in the AIB Gallery at the Dean Crowe Theatre, Athlone, and will run until the middle of January. The photos which will be on display, and for sale, were taken by students of the Athlone Institute of Technology Digital Photography classes. The photography classes have been running at the college since September, and the students have invested much of their time in the pursuit of creating artistic photography. The classes have been run by Michele Spence, an artist and photographer, whose idea it was to have the exhibition. There are around 80 photographs of various subject matter on display. They are available for viewing and for sale at the Dean Crowe Theatre during opening hours. There will be an official closing ceremony on Thursday, January 12, at 6pm.
