Four local businesses shortlisted in Irish Family Business Awards

Four local businesses have been shortlisted in the Irish Family Business Awards.

Shamrock Lodge Hotel, Mersus Technologies and Topline Heavins & Euronics (all located in Athlone) have each received two shortlistings, while Waldron Family Meats, Brideswell, was also shortlisted.

The Irish Family Business Awards, now in its 5th year, has become a highly anticipated event that recognises the dedication, innovation, and resilience of family-run enterprises across the nation. This year, there are 22 diverse categories for businesses to compete in, reflecting the rich tapestry of Irish family businesses.

Shamrock Lodge Hotel has been named as a finalist in the Best in Customer Services category and Hospitality Business of the Year.

Mersus Technologies has been shortlisted for the Innovative Family Business of the Year award and the Tech Family Business category and Topline Heavins & Euronics is a finalist in the Best in Customer Service and Retail and Wholesale Family Business categories.

Waldron Family Meats has been shortlisted in the Family Food & Drink Producer of the Year category.

The awards night takes place on Friday, November 3, at the Mansion House, Dublin

Attendees can look forward to an afternoon filled with celebration, networking, and, most importantly, the announcement of the deserving award winners.The Irish Family Business Awards provide a platform to honor the remarkable contributions of family businesses to the Irish economy and their local communities. The winners will be announced at a gala luncheon hosted by Matt Cooper.
