The Moate Partnership Group Christmas fair and gift day in the Moate Community Centre on Sunday last was a massive success with over forty stands and hundreds of visitors passed through the fair and the response from all the stands was that it had being a great success.
This is the first fair day to be run. The partnership group is lead by Chairman Paddy Casey. There was also a Moate Partnership free draw and the prize winners were as follows: Josephine Kerrigan was the winner of the first prize which was a fantastic fruit hamper sponsored by Moate Country Market. The second prize of a hamper sponsored by Ann Maria Downes, Mt Temple went to Anita Lynch. Third prize was won by Kathy Ashe while forth prize went to Bridie Campbell which was a round of golf in Mount Temple Golf Club sponsored by Michael Dolan.
The Committee would like to thank everyone for all their support as it was a great day for all involved.
The fair will definitely be going ahead again next year. Photo's will be going up onto the website: www.moatepartnership.ie
