All three local schools have been drawn away in Round 2 of the Leinster Colleges football championship. Moate CS have possibly the hardest task having been paired with traditional powerhouse St Pat's of Navan. Athlone CC have been rewarded for a comprehensive victory against Athy with a trip to Salesian College, Celbridge while the Marist College, who received a bye in round 1, must travel to Mullingar for an all-Westmeath clash. All games are scheduled for Wednesday, January 23, unless alternative dates are agreed between the schools.
