The 2008 Westmeath Independent Sports Stars of the Years awards ceremony took place in the Hodson Bay Hotel on Friday, February 6th 2009. Award winners for each of the twelve months of 2008 were in attendance to receive their monthly awards at the ceremony. The overall winner of the night was Gaelic Footballer John Keane, who was awarded Sports Star of the Year. Here are the winners of each of the twelve months:
