THE CUBE
The Cube with MC Marty Morrissey takes place in the Brideswell Festival marquee tonight. Cost of a meal and the Cube is €10 per person or €25 per family.

FOROIGE PUBLIC MEETING
Drum Foroige Club was established in 1997 and has been successful and a great asset to the youth in the parish ever since. In order to continue with this facility for our local youths the club urgently requires leaders from 18 years upwards. A public meeting will be tonight Friday, July 24, in Drum parish hall at 8pm. Anyone interested in becoming a leader and bringing the club forward is requested to attend the meeting. DELICATE MATTER
Delicate Matter, an exhibition showcasing the talents of Karen Donnellan, Jennifer Hickey and Liz Nilsson has opened in the Luan Gallery and will be showing throughout July and August right up to August 30. Admission is free.

HODSON BAY 5K
The Hodson Bay 5K is back this July 25! This year, all proceeds of the fun run will be donated to LauraLynn – Ireland’s Children’s Hospice. Registration from 10am, Race starts at 11am. A fun day out for all the family with food and entertainment afterwards.


BOWLING NIGHT
Monksland United FC presents a Bowling Night tonight at 8pm in The Planet Bowling Alley. Teams of four €40. Lots of excellent prizes and complimentary refreshments. All support greatly appreciated.

ADULT WORKSHOPS
Adult workshops take place in Luan Gallery today, July 25. Surface Pattern Techniques & Bookmaking with Frances McGonigle from 10am to 1pm. €50 per participant. Suitable for learners from 17 years. Working with batik on paper, explore surface pattern techniques. Try shibori on paper and discover traditional marbling skills. Learn bookbinding skills and incorporating your patterns. BRIDESWELL PATTERN
There is entertainment for all ages today in Brideswell - with a 6km walk in aid of the local defibrillator group, cycle trails and a GAA blitz just some of the events on offer. The entertainment continues that night in the festival marquee with country sensation Shane Owens.

SUNDAY, JULY 26

PATTERN MASS
The annual Brideswell Pattern Mass takes place today at 12 noon. Afterwards there will be a Family Fun Day with fun for all ages. Bingo takes place in the marquee in the afternoon with a prize fund of €2,500. Later that night Brendan Shine will entertain the crowds with support from Andrew Kenny and Sean Brennan.

GOLF OPEN WEEK

The Ballymore Country Music Festival takes place on Bank Holiday Monday, August 3.
