Roscommon records highest temperature in the country
Roscommon recorded the highest temperature in the country yesterday, October 14, according to Met Éireann.
The Mount Dillon weather station located in north Roscommon recorded an air temperature of 15.7 degrees, while the lowest air temperature of 13.1 degrees was recorded at Knock Airport, Co Mayo.
The temperature in Mullingar was also higher than most locations nationwide, with the weather station there recording 15 degrees.
