'Jogger' and Mitchell named on GAA.ie's Hurling Team of the Week
Tommy 'Jogger' Doyle and Niall Mitchell have been named on GAA.ie's Hurling Team of the Week.
The Lough Lene Gaels and Clonkill stalwarts were part of the Westmeath team that comprehensively defeated home side Laois on Saturday evening to retain their McCarthy Cup status for next season.
It's the second time this month that 'Jogger' has been named on the Hurling Team of the Week during a season when his reputation as one of best defenders in the country has been firmly cemented.
Mitchell inclusion this week is more than justified following his two goals against Laois.
