Ireland’s first sustainable style event at Kilbeggan Races

What's being billed as Ireland’s first sustainable style competition, sponsored by Bellamianta Luxury Tanning, takes place on Friday, July 8, at Kilbeggan Races.

Organisers are encouraging ladies to show the judges their upcycled outfits, favourite ethical brands, whether thrift, borrowed or handmade, with headwear an optional extra – it’s time for your sustainable style to shine!

Fashion is said to be in the eye of the beholder, but this year, judging the event on behalf of Bellamianta Luxury Tanning, Mark Rogers will have the final say on who takes home the prizes including a one-year supply of Bellamianta products for the winner and a friend, €1,000 cash, four training sessions with celebrity trainer to the stars Paul Byrne at BodyByrne Gym, a six-month supply of Annutri’s Miracle Hair Supplement ‘Grow It’ & scalp brush, a luxurious Infinity Limited Edition Box from Casmara, and a full collection of True Beauty by Aideen Kate.

In addition, there is a diffuser blender bundle from Irish-owned premium essential oil company Kotanical, a Polished London Water Flosser, toothpaste, bamboo toothbrush and toothpaste tablets, Hamper of Declaré skincare, a linen shirt from Linen Shirt Company, one year of hairdressing from award-winning Hair and Scalp Specialists Pelo, a hamper of GLOV’s eco-friendly makeup removal products, hair tools, haircare products and accessories from Voduz.

The AXA Midlands National of €100,000, with the first race starting at 5.20PM, is one of the most prestigious races of the summer racing season. The event has been described as the social event of the year in the midlands with a full evening of entertainment for all the family including live music, children’s entertainment, as well as the glamour of the style event and not to forget, the exciting racing taking place on Friday, July 8.
