Former Rose of Tralee to take to the stage!

Former Rose of Tralee Rachel Duffy is set to take to the stage as part of a major Midlands production.

Rosemount's Rachel Duffy will star as Cinderella in Tullamore's new panto in December.

Rachel, who took part in many musicals in Moate Community School before going on to get her degree in Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies in NUIG is excited about the prospect.

“I cannot wait to be back on stage and share Cinderella's magical story with you all,“ Rachel says.

Colin Hughes, who is producer and director of the Tullamore panto is delighted to have Rachel on board.

“We are thrilled to have Rachel in our cast and in such an iconic role as Cinderella. I have directed Rachel on many occasions and she is a very talented and versatile performer. I can’t wait for our Tullamore audiences to see her,” he enthused.

The rest of the Cinderella cast will follow shortly. Cinderella runs on December 5-17 and tickets go on sale at 10am on Tuesday October 24.
