Hollywood star visits the midlands this week

Hollywood superstar Will Ferrell returned to his roots in the midlands this week.

The star of such comedy classics as Elf, Step Brothers and Old School was in Longford town yesterday and went for a meal in Vocella's Italian restaurant where he posed for photos with staff.

Ferrell is a regular visitor to Ireland and has spoken proudly of his Longford roots in the past. In 2017, he wore the Longford GAA jersey when he appeared on The Late Late Show.
