Moate CCÉ members qualify for Belfast All-Ireland Fleadh

Members of Moate CCÉ will compete at the All-Ireland Fleadh in Belfast this August after delivering an outstanding performance at the Leinster Fleadh.

The 2026 Leinster Fleadh took place from Friday, June 26, to Sunday, June 28, in Portlaoise

The branch celebrated a number of impressive results across a range of competitions, with several members earning provincial titles and securing qualification for the national event.

Among the award winners were Shay Hoey, who claimed first place in the Under-12 Storytelling competition, Grace Browne, who finished second in the Under-12 Flute competition, and Ella Nohilly, who took second place in the Under-12 Bodhrán competition.

In the senior competitions, Aoibh Dully won first place in the Over-18 Sean Nós competition, while Rián Dully secured second place in the same category.

The Dún Na Sí Marching Band also earned second place in the Miscellaneous Marching Band competition.

Moate CCÉ congratulated all of its members who competed at the Leinster Fleadh, and wished those travelling to Belfast the very best of luck.

A spokesperson for the club said they were "so proud of all our members and very proud of these guys who now have Leinster titles."

The All-Ireland Fleadh, Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, will be held in Belfast for the first time from Sunday, August 2, to Sunday, August 9.
