'Passionate, positive and reliable' volunteers sought by Midlands soccer league

The Midlands Schoolboy/Girls League is recruiting for new volunteer coaches to assist with the running of its Emerging Talent Programmes.

The league said that coaches of all abilities are welcome to join the set-up at Under-10 boys and girls levels, as well as at Under-16 boys level. It said the league also needs coaches to 'work with all other age-groups (both boys and girls)'.

On social media, the league said it is looking for 'passionate, positive and reliable' volunteers to join its coaching teams, especially any former women players who may have stopped playing and want 'to give something back to the sport'.

The post added that anyone currently doing 'C' or 'B' coaching licenses may qualify for a quarter of the cost of the course to be covered. For further information people can contact the league via its social media platforms.
