An evening of 'local voices, music and community spirit' set for Kilbeggan

The people of Kilbeggan and its surrounding areas are looking forward to the town's upcoming 'Culture Night', where locals are invited to share songs, poems and stories at the well-known local distillery.

Organised by the Kilbeggan Players Drama Society, the culture night will be taking place at Kilbeggan Distillery on Friday, September 18, and all are invited to attend.

According to the society, culture night is all about 'celebrating local culture, heritage and community'.

The society said, when publicising the event, that it would love to showcase 'the wonderful talent in our own area by inviting local people to share a story, poem or song'.

'Whether you’ve performed before or it’s your first time, we would be delighted to hear from you and everyone is welcome,' the society said.
