Kelly Osbourne says loving her son is ‘the greatest privilege of my life’

Kelly Osbourne has described loving her son as “the greatest privilege of my life”, saying he taught her a “kind of love I didn’t know existed”.
Osbourne, 41, the youngest daughter of the late Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, made an emotional post on Instagram on Tuesday expressing her “unconditional, instinctive, endless” love for her son.
The TV star, known for appearing in reality show The Osbournes with her family, posted a carousel of images cuddling with, kissing and pulling silly faces with her three-year-old son.
Sidney Wilson is her only child with US DJ Sid Wilson – best known for his role in heavy metal band Slipknot.
Osbourne captioned the post: “There are loves you experience in life, and then there is the love you have for your child.
“A love so deep it becomes part of your bones.
“My son, loving you has been the greatest privilege of my life.
“I love you in the quiet moments, in the laughter that made our stomachs hurt, in the kisses and cuddles, in the silliness, and in every ordinary little moment I never knew would become so precious.”
The former Fashion Police star wrote that her child “made my world bigger simply by being in it”, and added: “You taught me a kind of love I didn’t know existed.
“True unconditional, instinctive, endless. The kind of love that asks for nothing and would give absolutely everything.”
She added “no photograph could ever hold the amount of love I have for you” and she and her son were both “completely wrapped up in each other” and a “team”.
Osbourne continued: “I love being your safe place. I love being the arms you can fall into. I love making you laugh. I love your little hands on my face. I love us.
“Out of all the things I have been in this lifetime, being your mum will forever be the most beautiful part of me. You gave me purpose.
“My beautiful boy. My heart outside my body. My greatest love.”
She concluded the post saying she loved her son “from the moment I knew you were growing in my belly”, loves him now, and will “beyond every measure of time, always”.
Osbourne and Wilson have hit the headlines in recent months and have reportedly ended their four-year relationship.
The couple had their child in November 2022, and got engaged in July 2025 during her father’s Back To The Beginning farewell concert, where he was reunited with his bandmates.
Ozzy, nicknamed the Prince of Darkness, is famed for his role in the group, which formed in 1968 and were widely credited with defining and popularising the sound of heavy metal.
The rocker died aged 76 in July last year just weeks after the concert.
