Motorcyclist being treated for 'non-life threatening' injuries following Athlone collision
A motorcyclist is being treated for non-life threatening injuries following a collision in Athlone yesterday evening (Monday).
Gardaí said officers and emergency services attended the scene of a road traffic collision involving a van and a motorcycle at R916 Garrankesh, Athlone.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:20pm on Monday.
A Garda spokesperson said the motorcyclist, a male aged in his 20s, was conveyed to the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life threatening.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
