Drum/Clonown/Monksland boys reach national final
The Drum/Clonown/Monksland U10 Gaelic football boys team finished second in the Community Games National Finals in Carlow recently.
This was a fantastic achievement for this brilliant group of boys. They came together as a team in May, worked incredibly hard, and fulfilled their dream of making it all the way to Carlow.
They proudly represented their parish, county and province, and to go on and reach an All-Ireland final (where they lost out to Clontibret of Monaghan) is something they should all be extremely proud of.
It was a fantastic journey, a fantastic achievement and great memories were made along the way.
All involved in the Drum/Clonown/Monksland Community Games area says well done to every one of the boys, their coaches and everyone who supported them. You did Drum/Clonown/Monksland and Clann na nGael proud!
