Tullamore hosting Fianna Fáil think-in

Members of the Fianna Fáil Parliamentary Party are in Tullamore today for the party’s 2026 Think-In.

The event, at the Tullamore Court Hotel, is focusing on easing cost of living pressures, supporting families and households, protecting jobs and investing in the infrastructure needed for our growing population.

Under the theme “Supporting People, Protecting Jobs, Improving Infrastructure”, the Think-In workshops will set out the priorities around rewarding work, the cost of living, childcare, the cost of disability and safeguarding Ireland’s future.

Creating Safer Communities will also be a key priority alongside action on Transport, Energy, Climate, Caring for our Children, Public Health, Skills and Talent, Sport, securing the Future of Irish Agriculture from land to sea and Our Shared Island.

Speaking ahead of the Think-In, Taoiseach and Uachtarán Fhianna Fáil Micheál Martin said: “Looking ahead to the Budget in October we are committed to easing the cost-of-living pressures on families and households during this time of sustained global volatility.

“We will retain relentless focus on investment and the delivery of critical infrastructure and housing.

“We are focused on reducing income tax, the cost of childcare and the cost of disability while at the same time safeguarding our future by investing in our Future Ireland Fund and the Infrastructure, Climate and Nature Fund.”

The Think-In takes place across Monday and Tuesday.
