Water supply disruption in Monksland area today

Uisce Éireann has said new connection works will cause a disruption to the water service in Monksland and surrounding areas of Athlone today (Tuesday, September 22).

The connection works are expected to impact supply to Monksland Business Park, Monksland, Athlone and some surrounding areas in the south Roscommon region. Works are scheduled to take place from 10am this morning until 2pm.

Uisce Éireann recommends to allow three to four hours after the estimated restoration time for supply to full return.
