Athlone fitness studio raises over €1,000 in support of Breast Cancer Awareness
Athlone fitness studio ØRA Wellness has raised over €1,000 in support of Breast Cancer Awareness with its Pink Wellness Morning.
Run by local woman Aishling "Ash" Croughan, ØRA Wellness Studio is located on Athlone's Castlemaine Street. It has a range of fitness and wellness offerings, from yoga, dance and pilates, to breathwork and meditation.
The Pink Wellness Morning was organised alongside life coach Libby Hayes, and brought together a group of women for a morning of gentle movement, breathwork, coffee, cake and connection, all in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.
"The morning was a wonderful success, with such a positive atmosphere," Libby said.
"It was fantastic to see everyone come together to support the cause, and I’m delighted that we’ve been able to make a meaningful contribution while enjoying a lovely morning together."
Abbey and Aisling extended their thanks to everyone who attended and donated, and to the local businesses who supported the event including Mary’s SuperValu Athlone, A Room in Bloom, and Sláinte Coffee Shop.
