TUS Athlone graduation ceremonies take place today and tomorrow

Graduation ceremonies at the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) in Athlone are taking place today, Tuesday, October 27, and tomorrow, Wednesday, October 28, with graduates from a range of faculties celebrating their academic achievements.

The ceremonies are scheduled across four sessions over the two days, with live streams available for those unable to attend in person.

The first ceremony began at 10am this morning for the Faculty of Business and Hospitality and the Centre for Pedagogical Innovation and Development (CPID).

A second ceremony will take place at 2pm today for the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, and the Department of Midlands Media and Design from Limerick School of Art and Design.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 28, the first ceremony begins at 10am. Graduates from the Faculty of Science and Health will be conferred during this session.

A further ceremony at 1pm tomorrow will include graduates from the Faculty of Science and Health, as well as the Faculty of Continuing, Professional, Online and Distance Learning.

TUS has provided live-stream links for each ceremony, as well as assembly information for graduates attending the events in person.

Following the ceremonies, graduates and their guests are invited to enjoy light refreshments in the main campus canteen. Guests must retain their tickets, as these will be required to gain admission to the refreshment area.

Car parking spaces are available on campus for graduates and visitors attending the ceremonies.

Graduates and their families can consult the university's official graduation information for live-stream links, assembly arrangements and further details about the events.
