Heartlands Pride to host 'Think In' to shape events for Athlone's 2027 Pride

Heartlands Pride Athlone will be hosting a Community Think In/Consultation this November, to assist in shaping planning and events for Athlone's 2027 Pride.

The meeting will take place on Friday, November 13, from 10am to 1pm in The Shamrock Lodge Hotel.

Heartlands Pride Athlone is looking for community organisations, businesses, volunteer groups, unions, youth organisations, artists and musicians to join the Think In to plan for 2027.

Items to be discussed at the event include ideas of how to make Athlone more LGBTQ+ inclusive, encouraging organisations to get involved in the Parade, encouraging organisations and groups to get involved in the 2027 programme, setting goals and planning projects for 2027, and general feedback.

There will be free refreshments on the day. The event is supported by Westmeath Community Development (SICAP Programme).

Anyone who is attending the event is asked to fill out the form linked here.
