Local GAA club progresses its climate action plan

Garrycastle GAA is today, Monday, taking the next steps in its climate action plan.

The club has asked members to be 'extremely careful' around the clubhouse and gymnasium today and tomorrow, as it begins the installation of its new solar PV panels.

The club said it will have external contractors working on the install, and that power in the clubhouse will be out between 12noon and 4pm today.

When completed, the works will have a 'transformative impact' for the good on the club's climate action plan, which will have a huge benefit on Garrycastle GAA Club for years to come, the club executive said.
