'Excitement' in Brideswell NS as rugby star visits
Brideswell NS was buzzing with excitement this week as former pupil Darragh Murray, now a Connacht Rugby and Ireland player, returned to visit the school where he began his primary education.
During his visit, Darragh met with pupils and staff, sharing stories from his professional rugby career and offering insights into the dedication and hard work required to reach the top level.
The children were thrilled to meet a local role model who has achieved so much, and the school was filled with laughter, questions, and shared memories.
The school expressed its gratitude to Darragh for taking time out of his busy schedule to reconnect with his roots.
