Injury set to end Henshaw's involvement with Lions

It appears that Robbie Henshaw has seen his last action of the Lions tour after he went off with a shoulder injury 20 minutes into yesterday's game against the Hurricanes in Wellington.

The Athlone man, who turned 24 earlier this month, had been hoping to force his way into contention for the second test against New Zealand this weekend.

But speaking to reporters after yesterday's game, Warren Gatland said the short-term prognosis for Henshaw was not good.

'He doesn't look great at the moment, he's in a bit of a sling with a shoulder,' said the Lions coach.

'I think there's a good chance his tour could be over. I think we've got enough cover within the squad at this stage not to have to replace him, if that's the case.'

The second test against the All Blacks takes place on Saturday morning (Irish time).Â
