According to Department of Health figures there were 309 cases at midnight on Tuesday in Westmeath.

The map appears to the lay eye to show significantly less than 309 dots. It may be the case that not all the confirmed cases were mapped. However also, in urban locations, due to the proximity of cases, the dots overlap each other and appear as a blurry cluster.

To the general reader, it appears that Mullingar continues to have the largest amount of Westmeath cases, though there are concentrations of dots in the Athlone and Moate areas too. There are other smaller groupings in Rochfortbridge, Delvin and Ballyncarrigy.
