Man (30s) arrested in connection with fatal Dublin shooting released without charge

A man, aged in his 30s, arrested in relation to a fatal shooting in Dún Laoghaire on Sunday has been released without charge.
The man was arrested on Monday. A file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
The shooting took place in the Patrician Park area of Kill Avenue.
The victim, a 39-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene, and gardaí are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
The shooting is believed to be an incident of suspected intimidation or a punishment attack gone wrong.
