Monksland pharma company shortlisted for four Cannabis Industry Awards

Monksland-based Dunbar Pharma has been shortlisted for four Cannabis Industry Awards.

The Cannabis Industry Awards celebrate the individuals whose dedication, expertise and achievements are helping to shape the future of the UK’s cannabis industry.

With 24 nominations across eight award categories, the awards recognise individuals making a meaningful contribution to the industry, whether through leadership, research, supporting patients or working behind the scenes to drive progress.

The winners will be celebrated at the Cannabis Industry Awards on Wednesday, November 11, at the Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) in London. The event is supported by Aurora Medicine and MediStack.

The Monksland company received two nominations in the Contribution to Science category presented by ECS Pharma.

James Igoe, Head of Quality Control, and Rosarie Byrne, Validation Manager have both been recognised for their contributions to advancing the scientific understanding of cannabis through research, innovation and evidence-based practice.

Two nominations were also received by Dunbar Pharma for The Green Award presented by PV Global.

Lauryn Blair, Technical Specialist, and Rosarie Byrne, Validation Manager, have both been shortlisted in this category which celebrates innovation and leadership in environmental sustainability, driving environmentally responsible practices and contribute to a greener future for the UK cannabis industry.
