New book will mark 75 years of Ballinasloe Town AFC

A new book that chronicles the fortunes of Ballinasloe Town AFC will be launched this coming Friday (October 30) in the town.

Past members, current and former players, club sponsors and members of the public are invited to attend the book launch, which will start at 7.30pm at the Shearwater Hotel and Spa Ballinasloe.

The book marks the club's 75th anniversary and is co-authored by club stalwarts Michael Riddell, Johnny Walsh and Joey Walsh.

On its social media platforms, the club said it would be honoured by the presence of as many people as possible 'on what promises to be a very memorable evening for our club and community'.
